When you support Thermopolis Fly Shop and Two Rivers Inn, you support legal, ethical guiding and local families. We've been doing it the right way since we started in 2014. There's a lot of whoopla about guiding in Wyoming as the Wyoming Game and Fish started a new guide program for 2026 tracking guides. We are very excited about this move to legitimize the guided fishing industry in Wyoming. Our current permit list includes: The State of Wyoming Lands and Investment Office for bird hunting and fishing with unrestricted state wide access, Wyoming State Parks Sinks Canyon Boysen State Park and Buffalo Bill State Park all for just fishing, The Bureau of Land Management BLM on the Wind River, Big Horn River, North Platte River Grey Reef to Casper and Fremont Canyon with varying permissions per regional office, The Shoshone River in Cody for fishing and bird hunting and the Big Horn National Forest tributaries on BLM lands. Next we have the Bureau of Reclamation BOR Green River Fontenelle, The United States Department of Agriculture National Forest Service USDA NSF Shoshone National Forest including all 3 forks of the Popo Agie river a tributary to the Little Wind and ALL Wyoming Game and Fish lands via authority granted in Chapter 23 of the Wyoming Game and Fish regulation governing book.
